CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. --When he's old enough, four-star shooting guard Brandon Randolph has the chops to do well in the World Series of Poker. As well as any player in the class of 2017, Randolph is disguising the hand he's got when it comes to his recruitment.

Maryland, Indiana, North Carolina, Oregon, Villanova, Syracuse, Kansas, Arizona, Connecticut, Wake Forest and many others have reportedly offered scholarships. However, the 6-foot-4 product of the Westtown (Pa.) School declined to speak specifically about any one program when asked if anybody was standing out or going above and beyond in their efforts to recruit him.

"I think all of the schools contact me equally," Randolph said at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. "It's great because I get a bunch of phone calls every day basically, or texts, saying how you doing Brandon and just checking up on me. All of these schools are just trying to look out for me and it's nice."

Ranked No. 73 overall in the class of 2017, Randolph averaged 10 points per outing in his two contests on the opening day of camp. A normally reliable jump shooter from deep, he's missed some open looks and changed his game up.

"It's going well so far. I think my team has a bunch of talent, as does every team, but I think we are special. We are all balling together and that's good.

"(My driving is) something that people don't give me credit for. I see that my shots not falling right now so I thought that I had to adjust and attacking the basket always gets me into a rhythm."

Up next for Randolph is setting some unofficial visits. Exactly where he's going, he's not yet saying, but he did confirm a recent trip to see the 2016 national champions.

"I have visits planned but I'm not going to say them out loud," said Randolph. "I took my first unofficial at Villanova (last) weekend and it was nice."

When he does decide, style of play will matter, location won't matter and academics are going to factor in.

"Location isn't a big factor for me but definitely style of play and academics," said Randolph."I definitely want to go to a school that helps me focus on what I want to major in which is accounting and just a school that has my style of play."
