2015 Basketball Team Rankings

Commits: C Skal Labissiere (No. 1), PG Jamal Murray (No. 9), PG Isaiah Briscoe (No. 10), SG Charles Matthews (No. 48), SG Mychal Mulder (JC NR)

Overview: Once again, John Calipari and his staff have put together a big-time class. The top player in 2015, Labissiere is a smooth and fluid big man who loves to face the hoop to shoot jumpers or attack off the dribble. Briscoe is the best point guard in the country and physically tough off the dribble while Matthews is a long and athletic wing. In Mulder, they found a junior college shooter capable of stretching defenses. A June addition, Murray is a high scoring five-star combo guard who can play the point or on the wing.

Commits: SF Brandon Ingram (No. 4), PG Derryck Thornton (No. 14), C Chase Jeter (No. 16), SG Luke Kennard (No. 25), C Antonio Vrankovic (NR)

Overview: The Blue Devils have come up huge in 2015 with four five-star prospects. Ingram is a skilled offensive player whose upside is as great as anybody in the class. Thornton is speedy and aggressive with the ball, Jeter is a big man who can alter shots and score via the jump hook while Kennard is a strong southpaw and one of the nation's more dangerous jump shooters. A late addition, Vrankovic is a space-eating big with good hands.

Commits: SG Allonzo Trier (No. 12), SF Ray Smith (No. 17), SG/PG Justin Simon (No.24), PF/C Chance Comanche (No. 32)

Overview: Sean Miller and his staff put together a monster class in 2015. Smith is a high-flying wing with huge upside but missed his senior year due to an ACL injury. Trier is a big-time scorer and Simon is a utility guard who can play multiple positions. Comanche is a slender face-up post player who can shoot and has upside.

Commits: SF Ben Simmons (No. 2), SG Antonio Blakeney (No. 13), SG Brandon Sampson (No. 42)

Overview: Led by head coach Johnny Jones, the Tigers have put together one heck of a class. After landing the nation's current No. 1 player in the senior class in Simmons, they were active for spring. Blakeney is a big-time shooter while Sampson is a hometown kid they picked up after he de-committed from St. John's.

Commits: PG/SG JaQuan Lyle (No. 24 in 2014), SG Austin Grandstaff (No. 44), C Daniel Giddens (No. 51), PG A.J. Harris (No. 104), SF Mickey Mitchell (No. 117)

Overview: After signing with Oregon in 2014 and not being admitted, Lyle is a crafty playmaker and very good addition. The Buckeyes have a dangerous shooter and one of the most confident scorers in the 2015 class in Grandstaff. Giddens is a standout post defender with developing offense while Harris makes up for being undersized with competitive fire. After de-committing at the end of the summer, Mitchell re-joined the Buckeyes after an official visit.

Commits: PF Cheick Diallo (No. 5), PF Carlton Bragg (No. 21), SG LaGerald Vick (No. 33 in 2016)

Overview: It is only a three-man class for the Jayhawks, but Bill Self and his staff have landed the interior help that they needed to go along with a perimeter. Diallo plays with intense energy and has improved his all-around game while Bragg is a four man with athleticism who can play some facing the rim. Vick had initially committed to SMU and planned to go to prep school for a year but will enroll for 2015.

Commits: SF Jaylen Brown (No. 3), PF Ivan Rabb (No. 7), PF Roman Davis (NR)

Overview: In his first year in Berkeley, Cuonzo Martin has made a statement that he and his staff will have to be reckoned with on the recruiting trail. Pulling Brown out of Georgia was a major score and his slashing and physicality will be welcomed. A local kid, Rabb is a terrific rebounder and ambidextrous scorer. Four-star Tyson Jolly will go to prep school making him 2016 while Rivals150 guard Davon Dillard switched to Oklahoma State. A three-star forward, Davis was a late addition.

Commits: C Tyler Davis (No. 28), PF Elijah Thomas (No. 29), SF D.J. Hogg (No. 38), SG Admon Gilder (No. 65), SG Raquan Mitchell (NR)

Overview: Billy Kennedy and the Aggies have made big waves on the recruiting trail. Thomas and Davis are both big and strong, have scoring touch and rebound at a high rate. Hogg has outstanding size for the wing and is one of the nation's premier jump shooters while Gilder is a steady two guard who can really defend. A late addition, Mitchell is an athletic combo guard.

Commits: SG Donovan Mitchell (No. 31), SF Deng Adel (No. 47), PF Raymond Spalding (No. 64), SG Ryan McMahon (NR)

Overview: Rick Pitino is having little trouble attracting talent to the Ville. Mitchell is a strong and athletic guard coming off of a big summer while Spalding has added some consistency to go with his size and skill. Adel is a mid-range scorer who may be able to play some at the four as well. McMahon is a relatively unknown prospect from Florida whose shooting caught Pitino's eye late.

Commits: SG Dejounte Murray (No. 46), PF Marquese Chriss (No. 56), SF Matisse Thybulle (No. 130), SG David Crisp (NR), PF Malik Dime (JC NR), SF Dominic Green (NR), PF Devenir Duruisseau (NR)

Overview: The Huskies have been busy in the class of 2015 having already landed a six man class. The athletic and quick Chris and rangy and versatile Chriss and Murray headline the class. Thybulle is a versatile wing who hails from Seattle just like the sharp shooting Crisp (and Murray). Green is a shooter with long arms, Dime is considered one of the top junior college big men while Duruisseau is a big bodied prep schooler who initially committed to San Jose State as a member of the class of 2014.

Commits: C Stephen Zimmerman (No. 15), SF Derrick Jones (No. 49), PG Jalen Poyser (No. 97)

Overview: Under head coach Dave Rice, the Rebels have become a fixture when it comes to landing high end talent. Still, convincing the highly skilled Zimmerman to stay home was a major win. Jones is an electric athlete with a great step while Poyser is a point guard with size who loves to score off the dribble.

Commits: SF Malachi Richardson (No. 35), PF Tyler Lydon (No. 64), C Moustapha Diagne (No. 77), SG Franklin Howard (No. 86)

Overview: In Richardson, the Orange have landed one of the most confident offensive players in 2015. Lydon is a thin face up four-man who can shoot while Diagne is rugged in the post. Howard is a tall guard rounding into shape after tearing his ACL a year ago.

Commits: SF Dwayne Bacon (No. 22), SG Malik Beasley (No. 43), SG Terance Mann (No. 98), C Jean Marc Koumadje (NR), SG Benji Bell (JC NR)

Overview: Leonard Hamilton and the Seminoles have put together one heck of a recruiting effort. Their 2015 class is rich with wing talent and is headlined by Bacon -- a big, physical and athletic five-star. Beasley is an explosive athlete and wing scorer while Mann is a versatile wing who does a little bit of everything. Koumadje is a skinny but mobile and athletic 7-foot-4 big man with upside while Bell is a junior college scorer.

Commits: PF Henry Ellenson (No. 18), SG Haanif Cheatham (No. 76), PG Traci Carter (No. 90), SG Sacar Anim (NR), C Matt Heldt (NR)

Overview: Things seem to be going well for Steve Wojciechowski in his first season of recruiting. He landed a big-time scorer in Ellenson, who is a five-star prospect. Cheatham is a highly versatile guard who can play all three positions along the perimeter. Carter is a speedy point guard who will end up in the final Rivals150 while Heldt is a banger with skill and Anim is a late blooming two guard who plays both ends of the floor.

Commits: SG Tyler Dorsey (No. 11), PF Trevor Manuel (No. 52), PG Kendall Small (No. 110), PF Chris Boucher (JC NR)

Overview: In Dorsey, Dana Altman and the Ducks have landed a high scoring combo guard who is also very good as a rebounder. Manuel is one of the most improved players in the country and could still be a bit underrated as a big man while Small is a slightly undersized point who can score. A late pickup, Boucher is a very mobile juco player who brings some offensive punch.

Commits: SG Malik Newman (No. 8), PF Aric Holman (No. 73), SG Quinndary Weatherspoon (No. 116), PF Joseph Struggs (NR)

Overview: New coach Ben Howland pulled off a major feat when he convinced Newman to stay home. A top 10 player, Newman is an explosive scorer who gives the Bulldogs credibility. In Weatherspoon they have another in-state scorer, while Struggs is a developing big man. Holman had been expected to spend a year in prep school and was the No. 70 player in 2016, but the big man will arrive this summer instead.

Commits: PF Dedric Lawson (No. 33), SF Keelon Lawson (No. 54), C Nick Marshall (No. 71 in 2016), PG Jeremiah Martin (NR), PG Randall Broddie (NR)

Overview: Josh Pastner as a serious package deal cooking in the class of 2015. Both of assistant coach Keelon Lawson's sons are onboard. High scoring Dedric made the move from the class of 2016 to 2015 while his brother K.J. is a hard working small forward who plays with toughness. Martin is a local point who had a huge senior season and flipped from Louisiana Tech while Broddie is a scorer. A big and strong center, Marshall had planned on a year of prep school but will enroll with his natural class of 2015.

Commits: SG Kerwin Roach (No. 34), SG Eric Davis (No. 59), SF Tevin Mack (No. 110)

Overview: New coach Shaka Smart and his staff have kept the Longhorns' two-man class together. A natural two guard, Roach is an athletic freak with quickness who the Horns' staff feels they can convert to a point guard. Davis is a smooth scorer who is comfortable on or off the ball. Previously committed to Smart at VCU, Mack is a jump shooter who has deep range and good size.

Commits: SG Jalen Coleman-Lands (No. 39), SG Aaron Jordan (No. 5), SF D.J. Williams (No. 118), PF Darius Paul (JC NR)

Overview: The Illini made up serious ground late to land one of the class of 2015's best shooters, Coleman-lands. The other two Illini commits are in-state prospects. Williams is a good sized wing who specializes in shooting mid range jumpers while Jordan is a good shooter from beyond the three-point line.

Commits: SF Danjel Purifoy (No. 69), PF Horace Spencer (No. 71), SG New Williams (NR), SG T.J. Dunans (JC NR), SG Bryce Brown (NR)

Overview: Bruce Pearl isn't wasting any time putting his mark on the Auburn program. Spencer is a high-energy big with athleticism while Purifoy is a bruising wing. Williams is a big-time athlete who missed his junior season with a knee injury, Dunans is one of the most highly regarded scorers in junior college basketball while Brown should add perimeter shooting.

Commits: PG Jalen Adams (No. 23), PF Steve Enoch (No. 58)

Overview: The Huskies class only features two players at this point but they are both capable of making an instant impact as freshman. Adams is a high scoring and athletic point guard while Enoch is a homegrown big man who is still new to the game and improving rapidly.

Commits: PG Jalen Brunson (No. 20), SG Donte Divincenzo (No. 120), PF Tim Delaney (NR)

Overview: Jay Wright landed a stud point guard when Brunson elected to spend his college years in Philly. Divincenzo is an athletic off guard who plays with flair while Delaney is a big man with shooting touch.

Commits: SG Stephen Thompson (No. 50), PF Tres Tinkle (No. 93), PF Drew Eubanks (No. 138), PG Derrick Bruce (NR), C Gligoride Rankocevic (NR)

Overview: The first class under the direction of Wayne Tinkle is a runaway success. Thompson is a smooth jump shooter with range while the head coach's son Tinkle can play the three or the four. Bruce is a long and quick floor general with raw talent while Eubanks is an athletic big who is just starting to get serious about basketball. Rankocevic is a big body with some skill who can grow into a role.

Commits: SG Prince Ali (No. 30), SG/PG Aaron Holiday (No. 60), C Ikenna Okwarabizie (JC NR), PF Alex Olesinski (NR)

Overview: Steve Alford has proven that he is no slouch on the recruiting trail. In Ali and Holiday he has a pair of physical and athletic backcourt players who love to attack the rim. A juco recruit with three years of eligibility, Okwarabizie adds low-post size while Olesinski is a stretch four.

Commits: PF Deyonta Davis (No. 26), SG Matt McQuaid (No. 84), SG Kyle Ahrens (NR)

Overview: The Spartans have high hopes for Davis who has length, athleticism and soft touch to go along with plenty of still untapped potential. After initially committing to SMU, McQuaid reconsidered and chose to take his deep jump shooting to East Lansing. Ahrens is a tough, blue collar wing who came back strong from a junior season injury.

Commits: SG Kevaughn Allen (No. 67), SF Keith Stone (No. 94), PF Kevarrius Hayes (No. 149)

Overview: New head coach Mike White did a great job keeping 75% of the recruiting class together losing only four-star big man Noah Dickerson. When he committed, Allen was known as a defender and transition finisher but he has proven to have more offensive weapons. Stone is a year young for the class of 2015 and has perimeter skill while fellow Floridian Hayes is an athletic big with a live body and long term potential.

Commits: C Thomas Bryant (No. 27), PF Juwan Morgan (No. 109), SF O.G. Anunoby (NR)

Overview: Tom Crean and the Hoosiers got the big they desperately needed in Bryant. He should fit nicely with the skilled Morgan and the very bouncy and versatile Anunoby.

Commits: C Caleb Swanigan (No. 19), SG Ryan Cline (No. 141), SG Grant Weatherford (NR)

Overview: Matt Painter and his staff pulled off a huge recruiting win when they were able to score Swanigan after he backed away from a Michigan State commitment. A big body who is skilled in the post and a fine passer, Swanigan is a major boost. Cline is one of the best deep shooters in the class of 2015 while Weatherford provides toughness.

Commits: SF Cameron Walker (No. 85), C Josh Sharma (No. 96), SG Marcus Sheffield (No. 136)

Overview: The Cardinal have landed a nice trio of four-star prospects. Walker is a wing with good size, athleticism and a nice looking jump shot while Sharma is a very athletic big with deep touch and the ability to outplay his current ranking if he can find consistency. Sheffield is a thin wing who is more upside than finished product at this time.

Commits: PF Chimezie Metu (No. 41), SF Bennie Boatwright (No. 57)

Overview: The Trojans wanted to get more athletic and versatile and they are well on their way. Metu is one of the more athletic big men in the country while Boatwright is a tall wing with deep range capable of playing as a stretch four-man if needed.
